Reciprocal Tariff Update #2

The White House released an executive order confirming that updated reciprocal tariffs will take effect on 8/1/25. Below is the updated country list and reciprocal tariff rates gathered from Truth Social as of 7/27/25.

Myanmar – 40%
Laos – 40%
S. Africa – 30%
Kazakhstan – 25%
Malaysia – 20%
S. Korea – 25%
Japan –Trade deal reached for 15%. (Down from 25% announced earlier.)
Tunisia – 25%
Bosnia, Herzegovina- 30%
Thailand - 36%
Cambodia - 36%
Serbia Belgrade - 35%
Bangladesh - 35%
Indonesia - Trade deal reached for 19%. (Down from 32% announced earlier.)

Philippines - 20%
Brunei - 25%
Moldova - 25%
Algeria - 30%
Iraq - 30%
Libya - 30%
Sri Lanka - 30%
Canada - 35%
Vietnam - 20% trade deal
China - up to 55% trade deal
UK - 10% trade deal
European Union - 15% trade deal reached. (Down from 30% announced earlier.)
Mexico - 30%
Brazil - 50%

*150+ countries - will receive a letter from the President to advise reciprocal tariff rates. The rate is expected to be 10% or higher.

TAs we are approaching 8/1 be sure to watch incoming shipments closely.

Collect and review import documents as soon as possible. Ensure everything has been transferred to your customs broker.
Make sure customs brokers are preparing entries for submission before the arrival date. Entries should be submitted as early as possible to ensure no delays that could push you past the 8/1 implementation date.
If you clear cargo at an inland port, consider speaking with your customs broker and carrier / NVOCC to update bill of ladings to show port of entry at first port of arrival. This may help you clear last minute arrivals under the current reciprocal tariff rates before 8/1.

Please remember that China has already completed a trade deal with the US that is already in effect. This upcoming change will not impact the current trade deal. We expect to hear more details in the coming days and encourage you to monitor the official updates at WhiteHouse.gov.
