Northeast Territory Account Coordinator
Position Summary
The Northeast Territory Account Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining product
placements and education with in the assigned territory. Must be self- motivated and driven to increase
revenue by developing existing accounts and/or cold calling. Position requires daily travel within sales
territory; 30% overnight travel. Prior sales experience in the aquarium / pet industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and or 3 years outside sales experience (pet industry / aquarium preferred)
• Microsoft Office, SAP
• Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving ability
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

About Company:

We are Hillside Farms, a manufacturer and distributor of dog treats. We are a family owned company whom has been servicing the pet industry for 12 years. We have a manufacturing facility in Ontario, CA which we specialize in manufacturing jerky products. We also have a sales and marketing office in Irvine which is where we are looking to fill in a product development position. Essential Functions of this Role:

  • Support the Product Line Manager
    • Document and maintain product and packaging specifications
    • Facilitate information flow between customer, internal sales and manufacturing team
    • Monitor product development through the creation process and execute delegated tasks as necessary.
    • Develop best practices to optimize product development procedures.
    • Identify areas of improvements and concerns and recommend improvements.
    • Provide assistance to product design and development teams.
    • Support Product Marketing Goals and Initiatives
      • Coordinate and communicate asset creation needs, including but not limited to: packaging requirements, product photo shoots, catalog creation needs, sales flyers, and online tool kits.
      • Create and maintain a competitive landscape matrix for each product family to clearly communicate perceived value and opportunities in the market
      • Attending and supporting annual trade shows
    • Manage and organize sample requests

Product Development Coordinator Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in related field or commensurate experience
  • 2+ years related experience
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills written/verbal with ability to present
  • Must speak, read and write English and Chinese proficiently
  • Proficient with MicroSoft Office
  • Ability to work with effectively all levels of management/clientele
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Local Orange County California candidates.
