Nine Percent of Horse Owners Have Made Financial Provisions for Their Horse in Their Will While 9% of horse owners have made financial provisions for their pet in their will, this practice is more common among horse owners with no young children. Also, owners in the Southern and Western regions are slightly more likely to make these provisions for their horse. Financially providing for one’s horse is significantly higher among owners with higher household incomes, as well as owners who are not married.
