Sarah Bopp

Manager, Booth Sales & Operations 

Sarah Bopp joined the American Pet Products Association (APPA) in 2012.  In her time serving as Booth Sales & Operations Manager for the Association’s annual trade show, Global Pet Expo, she has made her mark on this premier event as well as the pet industry. 

Global Pet Expo, recently named “Greatest Show on Earth” by Trade Show Executive Magazine, is also the world's largest annual pet products trade show. Sarah works with the team managing all aspects of booth sales and assignment, with an emphasis on providing exhibiting members with an exceptional customer service experience. In preparation for the Show each year, Sarah advises exhibitors on strategy to enhance the show planning process and how to make the most of the exhibiting experience.  She also works closely with Global Pet Expo's official service contractor throughout the show cycle to ensure exhibitor needs are being communicated.

Expressing great interest in future of the exhibits and events industry, Sarah became a founding member of the NYIAEE Young Professionals, where she now serves as Co-Vice Chair of the committee.  As the group began to thrive, Sarah recognized a need for a network within the pet industry that would attract and engage young professionals.  Working with a fellow APPA colleague, Sarah played an integral role in developing the APPA Young Professionals Network, which officially launched at Global Pet Expo in March of 2016.

Sarah is a graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, where she earned her Master of Business Administration after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.  She was awarded IAEE Rookie of the Year in 2015 and is currently studying for her CEM certification.
