Coordinator, Member Relations & Business Development 

As Coordinator in the Member Relations & Business Development Department, Karyn is responsible for membership retention and recruitment initiatives, development of the APPA National Pet Owners Survey, ad placements and implementation of marketing strategies, member communications, website management and the administration of the Jules Schwimmer Scholarship Program.  Karyn also assists the Member Relations department with new program development.

Prior to joining APPA, Karyn served as Account Executive for The Advocate & Greenwich Time Newspapers in Stamford, CT, where she expanded their active client base by 30%.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina.
